Plastick | Senior Thesis | 2024-2025
For my senior thesis, I created Plastick — a project focused on raising awareness about microplastics and the global ‘plastic plague.’ I designed the full brand identity, visuals, and messaging, then displayed it in the form of a retail store to highlight the irony of consumerism and environmental harm. By presenting plastic pollution through a familiar lens of shopping and branding, Plastick challenged viewers to reflect on their own habits and the hidden impact of everyday consumption.
Major Ideas | 2023
Major Ideas is a podcast concept designed to strengthen community engagement on campus, with potential to expand to universities nationwide. The project centers on student-led conversations: each episode interviews a different student to share their academic path, offering incoming students insight into various majors and a way to connect with future peers. To support the proposal, I created app designs and mockups in Illustrator and Photoshop, envisioning how the podcast could live as a digital platform. The project highlights how design can amplify storytelling and foster meaningful connections in an educational setting.
